IT Manager (Fulltime)

As an IT Manager, you will oversee all hotel systems to ensure smooth, secure, and reliable technological operations. You’ll support staff and guests with technical issues while managing networks, hardware, software, and cybersecurity. With strong leadership, you’ll guide the IT team and implement innovations that enhance efficiency and experience the guests.

What you will do:

Responsible for the entire technological infrastructure of the hotel, ensuring its smooth and secure operation to support staff and guest services.

Ensure all systems, including the property management system (PMS), point-of-sale (POS), and in-room entertainment (IPTV), are running smoothly.

Provide troubleshooting and technical support to staff and guests for hardware, software, and network issues.

Manage and maintain the hotel's networks, servers, workstations, and other hardware.

Implement security policies and procedures to protect data, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage backups and disaster recovery.

Plan and execute IT projects, such as system upgrades, new implementations, and migrations, on time and within budget.

Coordinate with external vendors for services like internet, software, and hardware maintenance.

Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT hardware and software licenses

Manage the IT department's budget and work with senior management on capital requirements and technology goals.

Assess new technologies to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and enhancing the guest experience, aligning technology with the hotel's business objectives.

Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Develop and implement training programs to enhance the IT proficiency of employees.

Your profile:

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is often required.

You need to have in-depth knowledge of hotel management information systems, such as Property Management Systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) systems, and other software crucial to hotel operations.

Be proficient in managing a wide range of hotel infrastructure, including computers, networks, Wi-Fi, guest-facing televisions, and phone systems.

Experience managing a team, even at a junior level, is often required.

A focus on providing excellent service to both hotel guests and internal staff is vital for success in a hospitality setting.
