Telephone Operator (Fulltime)

As a Telephone Operator, you manage all incoming and outgoing calls with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring clear communication between guests and departments. You handle messages, wake-up calls, and emergencies while serving as an essential information and coordination hub within the hotel.

What you will do:

Answering incoming calls promptly and transferring them to the appropriate person or department. They also handle internal and external calls, and may assist with placing outgoing calls. 

Taking messages for guests, ensuring they are delivered accurately and promptly. They also manage wake-up call requests, scheduling and making calls at the correct times.

Serving as a source of information for guests, providing details about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions. 

Handling emergencies quickly, following established procedures for situations like fire alarms or medical issues, and escalating as needed. 

Acting as a communication hub by coordinating requests and information between guests and other departments like housekeeping or maintenance.

Your profile:

Telephone operator with previous experience in customer service in hospitality.

Excellent verbal communication and strong listening skills are essential. 

Basic computer literacy and familiarity with telephone systems are necessary. 

A professional and friendly demeanor, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are crucial. 

Fluent in English.
