Public Area Supervisor (Fulltime)
As a Public Area Supervisor, you lead and train the public area team to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the hotel. You oversee daily operations, conduct inspections, manage maintenance and deep cleaning projects, and ensure all public spaces meet the highest hotel standards.
What you will do:
Supervise and lead public area attendants, which involves assigning daily tasks, ensuring efficient coverage, and managing staffing levels.
Train new and existing staff on cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures. They also conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
Conduct regular inspections of all public areas to ensure cleanliness and that hotel standards are met. This includes quality control of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Report maintenance issues, oversee pest control and plant care, and schedule deep cleaning projects. They also manage lost and found procedures.
Your profile:
Public Area Supervisor with 2-3 years of experience in housekeeping with at least one year in a supervisory role.
Key requirements include strong leadership and communication skills, knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
A high school diploma is standard, with a hospitality degree being preferred.
