Engineering Supervisor (Fulltime)
As a engineering supervisor, you will oversee all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring the hotel’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operate smoothly. You will lead, train, and support the engineering team while serving as their main point of contact. You will also perform hands-on repair and upkeep tasks and conduct regular inspections to ensure full compliance with safety standards and regulations.
What will you do:
Oversee all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring the hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are functioning correctly.
Supervise, train, coach, and schedule engineering staff, and act as a point of contact for their concerns.
Conduct a wide range of hands-on tasks, including fixing electrical fixtures, plumbing issues, HVAC units, and kitchen equipment, as well as painting and general upkeep.
Conduct regular inspections, monitor life safety systems, and ensure the hotel complies with all safety standards and regulations.
Your profile:
General engineering supervisor with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in hotel maintenance, facilities, or engineering.
High school diploma.
Key skills and knowledge in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, having strong communication and problem-solving skills, and holding relevant certifications.
Fluent in English and Papiamento.
