Assistant Housekeeping Manager (Fulltime)
As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you lead and support the housekeeping team by managing schedules, training staff, and ensuring all rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness. You handle guest requests and coordinate with other departments to deliver a smooth and satisfying guest experience.
What you will do:
Manage and support room attendants and other cleaning staff, including creating work schedules, monitoring performance, and ensuring they follow procedures.
Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
Assist in training new and existing employees, ensuring they are proficient in their roles and understand the hotel's standards.
Respond to guest requests and complaints and work with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Your profile:
Assistant housekeeping manager with at least 3-5 years of experience in hotel housekeeping and some experience as a supervisory or assistant management role.
A background in a 4 or 5-star hotel or on a cruise ship is required.
Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team is crucial and able to manage a large team of 70 plus.
The ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure is necessary.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness requires meticulous attention to detail.
Familiarity with hotel management software (like Opera PMS) is often a plus.
Be prepared to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Good English knowledge.
