Assistant Chief Engineer (Fulltime)

As an Assistant Chief Engineer, you will manage and schedule the engineering team, assign work orders, and ensure proper safety training. You will coordinate renovation projects from planning to execution, including bidding and contractor oversight. You will also diagnose and repair mechanical systems while supporting the daily operations and overall management of the engineering department.

What will you do:

Manage and schedule engineering staff, distribute work orders, and provide training on safety procedures.

Coordinate renovation projects, including bidding, cost and scope definition, and overseeing contractors.

Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment, fixtures, and fittings to ensure they are in safe working order.

Supervises day-to-day maintenance and helps manage the engineering department.

Your profile:

Assistant Chief Engineer with 3 years of experience in hotel facilities engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. 

A strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is essential, along with experience in managing staff and projects. 

Fluent in English and Papiamento.
